Agricultural Drainage Initiative
The Minnesota River Collaborative
The Minnesota River Collaborative was founded by two members of the Friends of the Minnesota Valley and one member of the Izaak Walton League of Minnesota.

The primary role of the Collaborative is to work with landowners, local water authorities, and state agencies to mitigate the harm that may be caused by agricultural drainage projects in the Minnesota River Basin.
The Minnesota River Collaborative has grown into an informal group of hydrologists, water resource engineers, geotechnical engineers, environmental scientists, attorneys (both active and retired), water quality experts, farmers and landowners, water quality advocates, and representatives of other NGOs.
